Cronulla Engagement Adventure // Matt + Ashley
Near the end of May, we were so excited to take Matt and Ashley on one of our first post-lockdown adventure sessions to celebrate the magical season of being engaged. It felt so freeing to be able to run wild and capture their love in the fresh air and soft Autumn light.
And Matt and Ashley are sooo cute together. They met on a dating app (their first date was to the movies to see Maze Runner haha!) and their relationship grew and grew until Matt got down on one knee and asked Ashley to be his wife last July. They love travelling, hiking and exploring together and were so lucky to be able to go to NZ before the world closed down.
We couldn’t have asked for a more fun and fulfilling time with the sweetest couple and the most gorgeous weather. My absolute favourite is when we get glowy golden sunshine or the moon appearing during a session and we could not have been luckier to have been blessed with both!
Together they watched the sun sink over the horizon, then changed into gentle dusty pink and blue to match the soft skies. After the light finally faded, we hopped back in our cars and went to get pizza together. The perfect end to an afternoon with beautiful souls in love.
Are you a happy camper or do you prefer to sleep in your own bed? Over the long weekend in June, we took a much-needed break back to nature on a two-night trip on the South Coast. Juwan grew up as a boy scout in America and camping is kind of his jam, so we booked a site wherever we could (last minute problems) and ended up near a quiet river in the gorgeous South Coast town of Gerroa, on Wodi Wodi land. Although one side of our campsite housed cabins, we opened our tent towards the water and it was pure bliss.
